Today, North Texas families need elected officials who will partner with us to serve home schooling families and protect parents’ home schooling rights. Chris Hill will be a great partner! I am proud to endorse Chris Hill for Collin County Commissioner, Precinct 3. Chris will be a champion for parental rights and a supporter of education choice in North Texas. As a former pastor, Chris, for many years, has been an advocate for home schooling families and the right of parents to choose how best to educate their children.
Chris is a native North Texan and a second-generation resident of Collin County. He has been married to his high school sweetheart, Laura, for 14 years, and together they have three children. Laura herself was homeschooled during junior high. Chris has been an active conservative and member of the community for many years. He is an Eagle Scout and volunteers as a Cub Scout leader for his two sons. He and his family attend and volunteer at Christ Fellowship church in McKinney. Chris also volunteers in the community as a leader of the Republican Party and a member of the Rotary Club of McKinney.
Chris began his education at Texas A&M University-Commerce, where he earned a Bachelor of Political Science degree. He also earned a Master of Pastoral Leadership degree from Columbia Biblical Seminary, a Master of Business Administration degree from Webster University, and a Master of Accounting and Information Management degree from the University of Texas at Dallas. He is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, Chartered Global Management Accountant, and Certified Fraud Examiner. Chris has extensive financial and organizational leadership experience, serving as a corporate controller in both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. He is well-qualified to serve as the next commissioner for Collin County. His leadership, integrity, and financial experience will be significant assets to North Texas!
